My Makeup
Monday, January 20, 2014
Earlier this month, Kailey asked her followers on twitter what makeup they used and I of course answered. I told her I'd eventually blog about it, and here I am being good on my word.
I've only recently started wearing makeup on a regular basis. I would only buy makeup for cosplay, and be upset it would just sit there until my next convention. So I slowly began to cultivate a mini collection, and I'm always looking for new things.
I have a bad problem with dry lips and hands in the colder months, so this rose salve is a huge life saver for me.
And the Haute and Naughty mascara is probably the best thing to happen to me.
I think I need more lipstick. More shades of red would be awesome. I have my go to MAC Ruby Woo, and L'Oreal British Red. I'd LOVE to own some lipstick from Besame Cosmetics.
My trusty MAC Studio Fix is looming in the corner, and has been well loved.
And a final parting shot.
What makeup products do you use? Are there any makeup products you're wanting?
Send me a link, I'd love to see them.
PS- WOW, I do not like the new formatting for flickrs photos. I shall change it when I can.

Hello darling readers! How is 2014 treating you? Well, I hope.
Here are some links for your reading enjoyment!
Gertie has a couple new patterns out for Spring 2014. I'm most likely going to pick up that lingerie pattern.
The lovely ladies from Colette Patterns are here to help those of you who have a million sewing projects and no idea how to sort them with The Wardrobe Architect.
Janey from Atomic Redhead is showing off some super sweet vintage photos with animals in them! It makes me want to start a collection of my own.
Brittney from VaVoom Vintage helps you lot out who want to make sure you get your vintage dressing look right with a little research.
Sarah from Ohhh Lulu has created a pattern and supply shop! I am super excited about this. I can't wait to create something from one of her new patterns.
Do any of you have any links that have recently made you excited?

Completed Fall for Cotton outfit
Monday, September 30, 2013
Here is my completed outfit!
I had a lot of fun creating this fun little number. I would love to make another, and soon!
I couldn't get anyone to take photos for me, so a tripod and the automatic count down it was.
I love the length on the trousers, even though you can't really see them. I hope to get a family member to take a proper full body picture for me.
My sister told me it looked like I bought the outfit somewhere, and was happily surprised when I said I made it myself.
I am really hoping I can get my hands on some vintage patterns, so I can make more adorable outfits for my wardrobe. Next time I start a sewing project, I'll try to remember to take construction photos.
Alright, time to look through everyone elses awesome outfits!
